CTET New Exam Schedule/Important Dates-2011

Central Teacher Eligibility Test Exam 2011 for Candidates aspiring to beome teachers at Primary and High School levels must qualify in CTET irespective of their academic qualifications and state level tests for selection of teachers.

Exam Schedule:
1. Paper I: 26-06-2011 (9-30 AM to 11 AM) - For an aspiring teacher for classes I to V.
2. Paper II: 26-06-2011 (12- 30 PM to 2 PM) - For an aspiring teacher for classes VI to VIII.

Qualifications:
1. For Classes I-V: Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45 percent marks and passed or appearing in final 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2 – year Diploma in Education in Special Education. OR BA/B.Sc. with at least 50 percent marks and B.Ed qualification.
2. For Classes VI-VIII: B.A. /B.Sc passed and passed or appearing in final 2 – year D.Ed. / B.A. /B.Sc. with at least 45 percent marks and passed or appearing in B.Ed / Senior Secondary with at least 50 percent marks and passed or appearing in final 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) / 4-year BA/ B.Sc.Ed. or B.A. (Ed.)/B.Sc. (Ed.) / B.Ed. (Special Education) with 50 percent in BA or B.Sc.

1. For General/ OBC Category : Rs 500/-

About Delhi Technological University (DTU)

DCE was converted to a state university in 2009 and has been rechristened Delhi Technological University. Prof. P.B. Sharma was nominated as the university's first Vice Chancellor.

Delhi College of Engineering operated from the Kashmere gate campus in the heart of Old Delhi until 1989, when construction began at the New Campus at Bawana Road in May. 04.  Higher starting salary can be considered for candidates with exceptional merit.

05. The Department of Space has a periodical review system under which the accomplishment of the Medical Officers are assessed and those found suitable will be promoted to the higher grade as per the rules as amended from time to time.

The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) is India's premier media school funded and promoted by the Government of India. IIMC is an autonomous society under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The institution was established on August 17, 1965 with support from UNESCO.
