Reservation: – 10% of Vacancy is reserved for Ex Servicemen and 10% for Female Candidates
No. of Vacancy may increase or decrease according to the requirement.
Pay Scale:
Payment for the post is Rs.8460 under Pay Band Rs.5200 to 20200+ Rs.2000 with other allowances as per Railway Rule
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must be Indian Citizens
Qualifications: Candidates should be 10th Passed from Recognized Board or any Equivalent qualification.
Age: Between 18 years to 25
Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, and 3 years for OBC Candidates
Physical level:
For UR and OBC Candidates- Height- 165 Male, 157 Female; Chest -80 to 85
For SC/ST Candidates- Height- 160 Male, 152 Female; Chest -76.2 to 81.2
For Hillman Candidates- Height- 163 Male, 155 Female; Chest -80 to 85
Selection Procedure:
Selection will be made on the base of candidate’s performance in Written Test, Physical Test and Measurement, Interview, and finally Verification of Documents
Physical Efficiency Test:
There will be 1600mts and 800mts run for Male and for Female respectively.
Duration will be 5 Min 45 second for Male and 3minut 40 second for Female
High Jump- 3.9 Feet for Male and 3 Feet for Female
Long Jump- 14 feet for Male and 9 Feet for Female
Medical Standard:
Selected candidates will have to go for Medical Test. The medical test will be at Railway Hospital. Candidates will have to qualify in the Medical test Category B-1.
Examination Fees:
Candidates have to pay application fees of Rs.40 as Bank Draft or Crossed Indian Postal Order. In favour of concerned Authorities given in Detailed Advertisement (No application fees for Female Candidates, SC/ST and Ex-servicemen.)

- Application format is available in the recruitment Notification; candidates are required to send application in A4 size paper in the same format as given
- Application should be sent to the Concerned Address which is given in the Advertisement Details
- Application should be sent by Ordinary Post
- Photograph of 3.5cm *4.5cm size should be pasted on the given space in the application form.
